Thppppppt!

Ok, I know, I know.  I cannot seem to find time to update lately.  We have been working like dogs at our jobs and being parents and don't have time to sit down to do this.  We go to Sarah Beth's pediatrician on Tuesday for her 6month shots (yes, she'll be six months old on Tuesday... wow) and then to the pulmonologist on Thursday for her first RSV shot and to see if we can GET RID OF THE OXYGEN.  Wow, I hope so.  Check on Thursday night or Friday morning for an update.  I promise I'll put something up if it is only just to say what happened.

Joe and I went shopping tonight.  We bought a cute gown for Sarah Beth's baptism and some other sweet little outfits.  One is for her first Halloween.  Another is for her first Christmas.  And a very special jacket for the winter months (Alabama Crimson Tide jacket of course).  So we had a good time and Sarah Beth enjoyed staying with her Grammie.

She has FINALLY started to sleep through the night a little better.  She will go to sleep around 9 or 9:30 and usually sleep until at least 5:00, though sometimes I have to get up and giver her the pacifier around 3 or 4.  But, wow, I forgot how good it feels to sleep.  She weighs more than 7lbs now.  We'll find out exactly how much on Tuesday, but that's exciting.

If we come off oxygen, we'll take her to church on Sunday (October 8th) but if we don't, we'll wait to take her to church on Sunday (October 15th changed to October 29th) for her baptism.  But, for all those who go to my church or may be coming to see her, we still have to be VERY careful about people touching her and being very close to her.  So we'll ask that you come and see her, but please don't kiss her, touch her face or hands or try to hold her.  We'll get there soon, but we're still very sensitive to any germs as even a common cold could put her back into the hospital or prolong her need for oxygen.  Thanks for that!  I cannot express just how very much we want to show her off to all of you!

Thank you all again for your continued prayers.  We still need them!

We'd like to know how many people check up on Sarah. Go to http://www.frappr.com/sarahbeth and add yourself to the map.  You should be able to do this with any connection, but it may take a little longer for dial-up people.  If you cannot add yourself for some reason, feel free to drop me an email --
